We're Still Here!

If you are one of our faithful followers who visit this blog and notice that it has slowed down for the past month, that is due to the various campmeetings taking place across the nation and in our own province of  Alberta.  We are still here and pray for each one of you from the special countries that you visit from.  Also, two new sermons have been posted from the month of July.  Please download them and enjoy.  God's Blessings!

Website

Hello, friends near and far!  There have not been any sermons posted on the blog due to the Wanda Johnson seminars that took place last Sabbath, and we are still waiting to receive the Peter Baptiste presentations back from background noise clean-up.

Also, because we want to glorify God in all that we do (and this includes our outreach to you via the internet), we are making a step forward in the world wide web and setting up an actual website that is set to launch very soon.  When the website launches, activity on this blog will cease and you will be able to find all that you need on our new website.  This blog will remain active until January 1, 2012, and then will be removed.  More details will be posted shortly!

Father's Day Sabbath

Due to Communion being scheduled next Sabbath, the ladies of the church decided to have Father's Day Sabbath this past Sabbath.  The women were involved with the entire church service.

And even the smallest of the women were involved in handing out the Father's Day gifts.
Afterwards, we took the men to Saskatoon Lake Park and enjoyed a picnic potluck there.

It was very convenient to have the playground so close.  The little ones (even one that is not yet born!) were able to enjoy the swings, slide, and merry-go-round.

When it was time for a juice break and a rest, we began our AY meeting.  It was a really fun afternoon fellowshipping with our church family and honoring our Heavenly Father for giving us our earthly fathers.

Peter Baptiste Presents...

These were taken yesterday in church just before brother Peter spoke to us and presented a powerful message.
 Elder Jeff introducing Peter.
God has even blessed him with the gift of singing.

Whenever brother Peter speaks, you will be sure to be involved in the conversation.

"Take 2 minutes, turn to the person next to you and talk about what voices have been going on inside your head.  The person with the least amount of hair goes first."

Powerful!  Give Glory to God!

We have uploaded Peter Baptiste's presentations for your downloading and listening pleasure.  God Bless and be sure to come out to hear brother Peter.  Check the schedule below as today are his last presentations.

A Refreshing View on Sabbath Keeping

Written by Pastor Brace in New England, an excellent biblical explanation on Sabbath keeping that allows the reader to take a look into his/her own Sabbath keeping rituals.

Presenting: Mother's Day By: The Men

Yesterday, the men of our church put on a very special Mother's Day program.  They took care of everything...
...from Children's Story...
...to the handing out of roses (each with a personalized scripture attached!)...

 Brother and sister...
 ...cousins...
 ...more cousins...

And the men of the church even sang for special music.  They sang "Blessed Be the Tie That Binds."
After the service, the women were asked to find a seat in the fellowship hall.  We were very surprised at what we saw...

And this is what we were so surprised about...

 The men worked very hard...

...at putting together a delicious meal of haystacks.  Some of the women were even served by their spouses.
We enjoyed every minute and thank the men for the efforts!  We praise God for such strong male leadership in our church.
