Prayer Conference with Virgil Covel

Here are some pictures from the Prayer Conference led by Virgil Covel.  It was an enlightening and blessed experience by all who attended!
 Virgil Covel
Potluck lunch after church.  (As you can see, there is always plenty of food, so don't be afraid to stay for lunch after church when you visit us!)
 Blessed with music...
 ...and song.

This is a picture of the way he demonstrated the Sanctuary.  There is only one way to the Presence of God and that is through the door (the bottom chair, which represents confession).  The next chair represents forgiveness, and the next cleansing (called the "laver" in the Sanctuary setting).  The rest of the chairs represent the candlesticks (light), table of shewbread, and altar of incense.  The top chair represents the ark of the convenant (God's Presence).

Workshop With Peter Baptiste

On October 30, 2010, Peter Baptiste came to our church and presented a workshop on how to choose God and His Way. We looked at how God sees us as His chosen  ones. He had a lively, interactive presentation about making God first and foremost in our lives as God's chosen children.

As always, a wonderful time singing hymns of praise!

Young and old, the workshop was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
(A great grandmother and her great granddaughter)
Weren't able to join us for the workshop on October 30th? Not to worry!
Mr. Baptiste will be blessing us with another visit from Thursday, November 18th to Sunday, November 21st, 2010 where he will be presenting a seminar series on "Discovering the Beauty of Jesus." Praise the Lord!
Please feel comfortable to attend and bring your friends and learn how Jesus is the answer  to the bumps and bruises in our lives. We're so excited to meet you and share this time with you! And don't forget to join us for a scrumptious, warm vegetarian meal after the worship  service on November 20th.
